Daddy held and kissed 1-week old Faris before leaving for work.
Oh , by the way, my tendering of resignation at PHN was imminent then.
I trust Faris's and Honey's silent prayer will ultimately pay off.

Faris's second day at home. Both grandma and Abah JB were around then.
The brand-new Honda Civic 1.8 is truly Faris's possession. I took the car today, on Faris's 4th day, however, the car had in fact been registered on his birth day.

2-days old Faris started to unveil his vocal cord when he started to do subtle wailing. When that happened, the remedy was always concerning milk consumption.

We were also pictured together here on the bed in the hospital room about an hour before my honey were discharged.

Emil Faris was merely 1 day old but hey the eyes were open now and then. Welcome to the exciting world tiny dude!

Barely 10 minutes after Faris's delivery, and 5 minutes after I had the azan performed onto him. He was born at 11:45 on 17th June 2008 and he weighed a mere 2.56 kg. Look at him! tiny little boy, but considering he was born not at full term, he weghed well within the normal range. His apgar score was 9. The 1 mark deducted due to his slightly bluish skin tone at birth.
The crib he was in had been labelled with a prominent "I am a Boy" sign, uhmm isn't that cute. At this point any milk consumption had to be given using a syringe and very little amount was permissible.

Prior to the delivery, MH had to go through procedures and preparation for the operation that consumed about 45 minutes. Only when the incision is about to be made they allowed me to enter. I managed to coax one of the doctors to capture the moment via camera. As I entered the OT, the surgeon distracted me from paying full attention to the operation by engaging me in casual talk, talking about work, automotive industries, blah..blah. Immediately I put my feet down on concentrating on the operation and I asserted I would not ( I thought) get fainted, hyped, jilted or miserable by seeing the whole process.

It can be seen here I was proudly cutting the umbilical cord after Emil Faris had been pulled out. Akin to inaugurating an opening ceremony, only this is way more breathtaking. The feeling was well beyond words.
After 18 hrs of unsuccessful induction ordeal, the verdict was out in that my honey had to deliver Emil Faris via cesarean section. She was being led to the operation theatre at about 11.00 am. I was the only other person being let in to witness it all.
